The Inyo, Sequoia, and Sierra National Forests are the three "early adopter" national forests in the Pacific Southwest Region of the Forest Service revising their Forest Plans using the 2012 Planning Rule.

The revision process involves three stages: assessment of forest resource condition and trend, development of a revised plan, and monitoring the implementation and effectiveness of plan direction.

They are sharing information about the process as it becomes available. If you have questions, concerns or feedback about this process, please contact Mike Dietl at 707-562-9121 or submit input via the project website. For more information on the Plan, visit the Plan Revision Page.
